Speaking Up — Information for Young People and Families
If something feels wrong, unfair or unsafe, you can tell us. We will listen, take your concern seriously, and explain what happens next. If someone may be at risk, we may need to share the concern quickly to help keep them safe.
When to contact us:
- You are unhappy about a worker supplied by Nurtura
- The way someone spoke to you or treated you did not feel right
- Something made you feel worried, uncomfortable or unsafe
- You are not happy with how Nurtura dealt with a concern
How to tell us:
- Speak to us directly
- Ask a parent, carer, social worker, advocate or trusted adult to help

What happens next:
- We will listen and record the concern
- We will look at what has happened
- We will tell you what action we are taking
- We will explain the outcome or next steps
You will not get in trouble for speaking up. If someone may be at immediate risk, call 999.
